How this site makes money

FasterCloudHosting.com earns affiliate commission on some of the outbound links on this site. This page lists every one of them, what we are paid, and what that does and does not influence.

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up to a provider through one of them, we may receive a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way — affiliate pricing is never higher than going direct, and is sometimes lower where a partner offers a reader discount.

Affiliate links are marked with an ad label wherever they appear, carry rel="sponsored" for search engines, and route through a /go/ link on this domain rather than pointing at the partner directly.

Links to providers we have no commercial relationship with are not marked and earn us nothing. Labelling a non-commercial link as an ad would be as misleading as hiding a real one, so the distinction is enforced in code rather than by hand.

What commission does not buy

Ranking position. The table is ordered by measured US origin TTFB, ascending. That ordering is computed from the dataset, not curated — a partner that posts a slower figure moves down, and a non-partner that posts a faster one moves above it.

Cloudways currently sits first. It held that position on the data before the partnership existed. If future testing puts another provider ahead, the table will say so, and the recommendation on the homepage will change with it.

We also do not accept payment for reviews, placements, or inclusion in the comparison. Providers cannot pay to be added to or removed from the table.
